Interest Within

In the name of Allah the beneficent most merciful, I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, who came in the person of Master Fard Muhammad to whom all praises are due, I also bear witness that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is our dear Apostle and Exhaulted Christ, and I also bear witness that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is our divine guider, leader, and teacher today in our midst.
As Salaam Alaikum,

Oh God Allah please guides my body, spirit, and mind as I submit myself to you as a representative. Use me as your Instrument.

The 2nd self or the mother of civilization has maintained much respect for self and she remains fully clothed

Being viewed as remarkable to the royalty trying to focus on an Egyptian Queens robe

Being in her midst, obviously she is in tune mentally and spiritually

Her intellectual level of intelligence allows me to focus on her divinity as infinite mental crossings through her spirituality crosses my path

Causing the most advance brain to exceed its godly expectations

Drawing my full attraction which facially is hard not to express

But within self I see so much potential as my interest grows

Holding ranks, giving thanks to Allah as I focus on the mission, I become afraid

To come confront, inform the interest may cause her to become confused

Or to cause an Awkward environment promoting gossip and not being able to protect one another from a spreading of names

So I continue to stay to self pushing away the interest as my temple becomes my resting place

Awaiting to hear her speak, approach, leave, and catch every door that she reaches

So Hannibal, what’s good? How does one show they are interested?

Well Bro that’s the hard part, U only have one source so I ask her if her father has been seen

Knowing it’s not the easiest, obvious approach, but is my comfort zone

See, I am a proud Muslim willing to take the proper steps I but I don’t know if I am ready

Going to school, working trying to stabilize self for a future

Not wanting to bring a person into a stressful environment that is too difficult to figure together

If I don’t I may miss out on my opportunity, future wife, and everlasting life

So what do I do, besides continue to be me and strive to better thy self

Oh Dear Son, I See Your Interest, But With Time, I will provide your other half in your Life

To Achieve the Goal, Path, and any Blessings, Asked of me, But Now Better Thy Self

Resurrect my People, Atone, Bring Equality, and I will Bring you Success and Wealth, and then and only then will you be blessed with a 2nd self.

Allah will guide you towards thee.

Brazilian president blames financial crisis on 'white and blue-eyed'

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown must have been a bit uncomfortable at a press conference yesterday in Brazil as part of a G20 summit, where the Brazilian president delivered a somewhat shocking one-liner about the financial crisis.

As Mr Brown looked on during a press conference, Mr Lula da Silva said that action was urgent since it would be intolerable for the poor — who were blameless for the collapse of financial markets — to suffer the most from its effects.

“This was a crisis that was fostered and boosted by the irrational behaviour of people who were white and blue-eyed, who before the crisis they looked like they knew everything about economics, but now have demonstrated they know nothing about economics,” he said, mocking the “gods of wisdom” who had had to be bailed out. “The part of humanity that is responsible should be the part that pays for the crisis,” he added.

His remarks threatened to overshadow the announcement of proposals for a £100 billion injection of finance to kick-start world trade. Mr Brown said that the expansion of credit was the minimum required as exports collapsed around the world.

FBI planting spies in U.S. mosques, Muslim groups say

(CNN) -- Ten U.S. Muslim organizations threatened this week to cease working with the FBI, citing "McCarthy-era tactics" by the agency, including efforts to covertly infiltrate California mosques.
Stephen Tidwell, then of the FBI's Los Angeles office, speaks at the Islamic Center of Irvine in 2006.

The groups claim the FBI has sent undercover agents posing as worshippers into mosques, pressured Muslims to become informants, labeled civil rights advocates as criminals and spread misinformation.
The FBI declined to comment on specific allegations but called the proposed move unproductive.
"Limiting honest dialogue, especially when complex issues are on the table, is generally not an effective advocacy strategy," spokesman John Miller said in a statement. "The FBI has continued our outreach efforts, across the board, with a number of concerned groups and where we agree -- or disagree -- most have concluded the best results are achieved through continued conversation. We believe that, too."
The group's statement, dated Tuesday, said several incidents of the FBI "targeting Muslim Americans lead us to consider suspending ongoing outreach efforts."
The statement was issued by the American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections, whose director, Agha Saeed, couldn't immediately comment because of a family emergency.
The FBI has sent "agents provocateur" into California mosques, according to the statement, which says an FBI agent threatened to make one mosque member's life a "living hell" if he did not become an informant.

Statement's Signatories

The following groups signed the statement threatening to cut ties with the FBI:

• American Muslim Alliance
• American Muslims for Palestine
• Council on American-Islamic Relations
• Islamic Educational Center of Orange County
• Islamic Circle of North America
• Muslim Alliance in North America
• MAS Freedom
• Muslim Student Association-National
• Muslim Ummah of North America
• United Muslims of America

Though the statement does not name the mosque member, the Council on American-Islamic Relations said last month it would seek an investigation into the February 21 arrest of Ahmadullah Niazi, an Afghanistan native.
"Mr. Niazi previously reported to [CAIR's Los Angeles office] and other community members that, during a raid of a friend's house, an FBI agent urged Mr. Niazi to work with the agency, saying that if he refused to cooperate his life would be made a 'living hell,' " a news release said.
Niazi, a member of the Islamic Center of Irvine, told CAIR his arrest was retaliation for his refusal, the release said.
The FBI directed questions about Niazi's arrest to the U.S. attorney's office in Los Angeles, California, which declined comment.
Niazi, 34, was indicted last month on charges of perjury, procuring naturalization unlawfully, using a passport procured by fraud and making false statements. A search warrant for Niazi's Tustin, California, home said Niazi became a naturalized citizen in 2004 and made false statements about his past aliases and international travel.
He also made false statements about contact with his brother-in-law Amin ul-Haq, the indictment said. Ul-Haq is said to be Osama bin Laden's security coordinator and has been labeled a "specially designated global terrorist" by the U.S. government, the indictment said.
An FBI agent said in open court that Niazi also had discussed terrorist plots with an undercover informant, according to media reports. Niazi has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
CAIR's problems with the FBI began before Niazi's arrest. Last year, the FBI discontinued its "formal contact" with CAIR.
The Tuesday statement said the FBI unjustly designated CAIR and other organizations as "unindicted co-conspirators" in the Holy Land Foundation case. A jury convicted Holy Land Foundation leaders last year of conspiring to support terrorism and launder money for a terrorist group.
"Making this unjust designation public violates the Justice Department's own guidelines and wrongly implies that those listed are somehow involved in criminal activity," the statement said.
The FBI's Miller declined to comment on specifics, but said the FBI wants to avoid "formally constructed partnerships" with CAIR.
"Our concerns relate to a number of distinct narrow issues specific to CAIR and its national leadership," Miller said.
Before the FBI severed formal ties, CAIR officials had met with the FBI to discuss hate crimes targeting Muslims. On occasion, CAIR offered assistance in investigations. The group also held training sessions for FBI agents on Islamic culture and ways to improve interactions with the Muslim community.

CAIR this week called the FBI allegations a "campaign of smears and misinformation," a remnant of the Bush administration.
"It is not surprising that we would be targeted in a purely political move by those in the previous administration who sought to prevent us from defending the civil rights of American Muslims," said a statement from the group's national communications director, Ibrahim Hooper.
Tuesday's group statement also mentioned "a flourishing of anti-Muslim activity" during the previous administration and expressed fear that "counterintelligence programs are quelling lawful dissent."
Unless the FBI affords fair treatment to all mosques, Muslims and Muslim groups, the statement said, Muslims should consider suspending ties to the agency.

"This possible suspension, of course, would in no way affect our unshakable duty to report crimes or threats of violence to our nation," it said.

Wish You Had A Get Out Jail Free Card?

Have you ever gone from having a great week to having a horrible and stressful week in the matter of moments? Well on Monday, March 23, 2009 my great week took a turn for the worst.

Feeling rejuvenated from an exciting spring break in Los Angeles, California with my father, I made my way down the winding hot roads of Houston, Texas.

I had just left from my brother in the cause of Allah, who picked me up from the airport. We enjoyed a mouth watering, California style, Blueberry-cheese pie from the Salaam West Restaurant that I smuggled back from LA.

I was so excited to see my brother. We are truly a reflection of each other in so many ways. While he took me to my parked car, we discussed our plans on building this nation. This was a topic we could never exhaust.

Man, I was so happy to be back in Houston.

As I made my way down the road heading toward my apartment, I could only think about getting to my bed as soon as possible. I was so tired from my travels and wanted to rest up for my Men's Class that I attended at the mosque on Monday nights. When the gates to my apartment complex were in sight, and I was only a hot shower away from slipping in a peaceful slumber, I caught a glimpse of red and blue flashing lights in the rearview mirror.

Well, I have a question for (YOU) the reader. Be honest. Is it usually your fault when you get pulled over by the police?

I pulled to the side of the road and the officer came to my window and said I was going over the speed limit. A billion thoughts ran through my head. “Was I speeding? I thought I was going with the flow of traffic…” Maybe I was too excited to be this close to home, knowing I would finally be able to rest in my own bed. Maybe the officer was just behind on his quota and was trying to catch up at my expense before the month end. I’m leaning toward the latter, but you be the judge…

Everyone has or will one day get pulled over by the police so this is the gravy part. The officer told me I had warrants (that I knew nothing about) and would have to take care of them now. Not now, but right now. I was handcuffed and thrown into the raggedy plastic backseat and a foul smelling cop car. The cop made sure the front seat pressed against my knees the entire ride in. Not prepared mentally, spiritually, and/or physically for this condition, all I could think about was that serene view of the front gates of my apartment building. I dropped my head and let out a heavy sigh… I was almost home.

It was about 2:00pm CST when I had been completely searched and sat in a waiting room with five long hours before I would be taken to the real jail. I had nothing to do but to reflect on what just happened and what was to come. The waiting was driving me insane. The tick of the seconds hand on the clock became louder and louder in my head and disrupted my thoughts. I was a college student in this hell of a state with no family and only a handful of people to call to assist me.

A little after 7:00pm, the guard came. I was taken to be searched again, put back into handcuffs, and thrown into a van with two other individuals to be taken to the Southeast jail. My feet thumped against the steel plates on the floor of the van as we bounced down the road in pitch black silence. I tried to catch glimpses of the faces of the other men as little slits of light would slip in from the outside.

A short period later we reach the jail. I was searched again, they took my pictures and I was directed to a cell by my last name (A-L) to the left and (M-Z) to the right. At this point I thanked almighty God (Allah) for the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad on How To Eat To Live. It came into effect more than I would have ever bargained for. They served runny oatmeal, Bologna sandwiches, artificial drinks and other more pork items. I didn’t eat…

I didn’t want to be sick for days, rushing to the restroom that is out in the open for everyone to see, having to smell the odor while locked up in a cramped cell. There was NO clock on the wall and I found myself trying to track the time. The television, when it was on, was the only way I could tell the time. I estimated by which programs would come on what time of day it was on the outside. I felt so unproductive, so useless, the absolute opposite of the Black man’s nature. I ran through my head a million things I needed to get taken care of when I got out. I was so bothered by having to just sit. I confirmed in my head more than ever that I needed to take responsibility to build my community, my Nation.

I sat and waited. Most people in there would tell you that they didn’t know why they are locked up. Most did not learn the reason until they spoke with the judge via telephone conference call. When it was my turn they asked for me to plead my case. "GUILTY, NOT GUILTY". The decision you give at that time is very crucial. If one says guilty, then one must sit out the remaining time of the charges. If one says not guilty, then one must wait to be put on trial and hope that the police officer(s) does not show up to prove they are guilty which would result in them still having to wait out the time.

The craziest and most frustrating part that I realized is that the guards have complete access to your files. Depending on their mood, they may or may not do any filing on their shift. This means if they do not file any of the documents, then the your file have to fall into the next shifts work and maybe even the next shift after that. I guess you can see where I am going with this.

PLEASE, I mean PLEASE, do not upset the guards because they will lose your files on purpose and some of them are even bold enough to tell you it too. "Yeah I lost your file, what can you do about it?"

When seeing the condition of my people, and the whole of humanity that suffers from this on daily basis, it frustrates me and reminds me of the Biblical Sodom and Gomorrah. STRAIGHT SAVAGE! The stench that you get from being in there is unforgettable.

The moral of this story is basic; Accept Responsibility. If you have any tickets, take care of them. Do not allow them to continue to rise. You don’t want to find yourself sitting in a room wishing you would had made better decisions in your life. To the ones that have never had to encounter this situation, I am proud of you. Remember the ones before you, and some even after you, will have to go through this experience. Just ask a friend.

"Surely Allah changes not the condition of a people, until they change their own condition."
